Can I buy a game on steam and install it later on a different laptop?
Long story short I have ordered a new gaming laptop. I want to buy a game in the upcoming steam sales but not install it until I get my new laptop. Maybe 3-4 weeks from now. Will I be able to do this?

I play Dota 2 on steam. You just need one steam account, and you can use your account on any number of machines.

You can copy the Steam folder altogether to the new HD and then do the following: - delete everything except SteamApps folder and Steam.exe - run Steam.exe.
