On TF2 I have just gotten some weapons I am not fond of, or just cannot use. Can I still trade even though I am considered Free to Play?

Can F2P players trade?

Free accounts reduce the player's backpack size to only 50 slots and disable some cosmetic crafting blueprints that are available to them. In addition to this, while Free players can receive all items through trading, they can only trade away items that were traded to them and Tools that they have found.

Can F2P trade in scrap TF?

Nope. F2ps can't trade at all.

Can you trade scrap metal as F2P?

The only items that a F2P can trade are certain drops such as paint or items that someone traded to them. Scrap metal that F2Ps crafted won't be tradable.

Why can I not trade in tf2?

Players who are playing the free version of Team Fortress 2 cannot trade items. You'll need to upgrade to the paid version in order to trade items with other players. You can purchase the paid version from the Steam Store, or trade Steam items with other Steam users for a copy of it. Know the value of your items.
