Can rabbits be tamed and bred? - Person Holding Can With Blue and White Knit Sweater

I've been playing a custom map and I wanted to tame and breed a few rabbits in the custom map pet store. But then I realized I wasn't able to tame or breed rabbits. I'm not sure whether I really can tame and breed rabbits but I'm not doing it right, or if I was just being dumb and not realizing taming and breeding rabbits is not possible.

Is it cruel to breed bunnies?

Can I breed my rabbit?

Breeding Rabbits Is Pretty Straightforward When you want to breed your rabbits, put the female into the males cage. If the rabbits are housed separately, you ALWAYS bring the female to the male. Females can be really territorial and may attack the male instead of breeding.

Can a bunny be tamed?

Rabbits can be very aggressive creatures, which can be a shock when you were expecting a cute, cuddly pet. However, most rabbits can be tamed over time with patience and understanding. You just have to let your rabbit get to know you slowly and teach it to associate you with good things (cuddles and treats).

Why can wild rabbits breed with domestic rabbits?
