Chunk Loaders In Vanilla Minecraft? [duplicate]

Chunk Loaders In Vanilla Minecraft? [duplicate] - Four Cupcakes Photography

I am creating a custom map in Minecraft, but when I try to set a block, I get the error, "Cannot place block outside of the world." I do believe that this is due to chunks not loading. Is there any kind of Vanilla Chunk Loader that I can use to keep many chunks loaded at the same time? I would prefer if there was no clutter.

I have heard about the Hopper system (I don;t know if it stills works, but then again, it creates too much clutter.

Try to find your spawn chunks, they are always loaded in Minecraft worlds, it is possible to put a block outside of the world if unloaded, but the spawn chunks are always loaded.

Can you make a chunk loader in vanilla Minecraft?

Many streamers use chunk loaders for efficiency because they don't cause noticeable lag even on multiplayer servers.

Do chunk loaders work in multiplayer?

The most common methods of making sure that chunks outside of the Spawn Chunks are loaded, is moving an entity (usually an Item) through a Nether portal, or using hoppers on the chunk border between the spawn chunks or any other chunk that is always loaded and an unloaded chunk.

Is there a way to keep chunks loaded in Minecraft?

Basically, it works as you have said, a long loop of hoppers will keep a chunk loaded, but the hopper chain must start in the spawn chunks. You can use chains of hoppers to basically extend the area of chunks at spawn that is kept loaded.
