-Dfml.readTimeout JVM argument doesn't seem to work

-Dfml.readTimeout JVM argument doesn't seem to work - Expressive angry businessman in formal suit looking at camera and screaming with madness while hitting desk with fist

I'm using worldedit to copy and paste 300,000 blocks but after 30 seconds I get kicked because I timed out. I thought that the JVM argument -Dfml.readTimeout=60 would fix this but it didn't, I still get kicked after 30 seconds. I added this is my launcher and my server arguments, any suggestions?
