Does the "time played" progress while the device is closed?
After completing the game the first time with 100%, I wanted to make the hero mode "more challenging" by trying to finish with a good time played in the end and restricting myself to fulfil only the basic needs of my little green hero.
As I play mostly while commuting, can someone tell me if the game internal counter for "time played" continues while the console is closed? With "time played" I don't refer to the console's counter but the game's internal counter.
I own a 3DS XL if that makes a difference and in most cases I press pause before I close the console. I have the option for finding street pass shadow links enabled, while the device is closed.
On another note, does "pause" really pause the "time played" counter of the game?
