How long does it take for a dweller to come back from the Wasteland?

My longest runs so far are around 36 hours of exploration and 18 hours return trip. The low level luck people I used to send out would still bring back rusty whatever guns and BB guns even towards the end of their trips. They did some times come back with a nice rifle or the like but that was rare.

How many items can a dweller carry in the Wasteland?

Dwellers will find items every hour in the wastes, plus some time fixed events such as: Broadcast Tower, National Guard, etc. However, their inventory do have a limit of 100 items. After picking 100 items, they won't pickup anymore, although they show up in the log that they have found something.

How long can dwellers survive in the Wasteland?

Once they're level 50 and equipped with a good legendary weapon (20+ damage) they have a decent chance of surviving 100 hours in the wasteland without dying. (Actually, sending them out before they reach level 50 can increase the amount of they survive in the wasteland.

Does luck affect dwellers in the Wasteland?

Luck also affects the chance of rush attempts succeeding. In the wasteland, it increases the chances of finding items when dwellers go out on quests and explore locations in the wasteland. The higher the Luck, the better the items.
