I need to know how to quickly find the Mystery Man. He's a good way to get caps but is very rare in my vault.
As in, like three times a month.

Any ways to find Mr Mystery quickly?

If he appears in an elevator, it will be lit (green), so you can zoom out for a quick check.

Otherwise there's not really a strategy, other than picking a zoom level that lets you scan all your rooms efficiently.

The Mysterious Stranger makes another appearance in Fallout Shelter, although it's quite brief. He pops into your Vault at random times, and if you find him the game rewards you with a few hundred caps. You have to be quick though, because he only sticks around for about 5 seconds.

How do you know when the Mysterious Stranger is in your vault?

Once you've heard the sound effect though, you'll have roughly 7-10 seconds to locate him within your vault, if you failed to find him you'll hear another piano tone play and he'll disappear. Fear not though, he tends to re-appear every few minutes.

Where can I find the Mysterious Stranger faster?

Just zoom in anywhere once the que start. If you were fast enough, you'll hear where the audio que is comming from and find him easily. If you are using headphones, that is.

I guess the sound of him matters. If it was loud, he appeared somewhere near, maybe higher or lower. If it was barely heard -- it should be somewhere to the left or right. Also headphones help.
