Faster trading with villagers?
I have massive quantities of carrots, and potatoes and am trying to trade with a farmer, but it is taking a very long time. Is there a way to speed this process up?
I am aware of the "standard" shortcuts for moving items up to the trading window, and down from the trading window. But, that still takes forever.

Villagers have a limit to what they trade. I don't mean the stuff they will trade, but how much you trade for. One example is that I would get emeralds quickly without mining by trading a villager lots of wheat. But then the emerald slot disappears. So there's a limit to what they trade. You don't need to trade everything at once. Once you trade something to a villager, there will be particles all over it when you exit the trade system, meaning the villager has something else to trade. But you're right. There might be a big limit to how much you trade, so that's why I tell you that you don't have to trade everything at once. I hope that answered your question. Good trading!
