Forcing games to run in exclusive fullscreen mode (for nVidia Share/GameStream)

nVidia Share requires games to be run in exclusive fullscreen mode (it cannot be borderless windowed) to be able to work.

Is there a way for me to force games without the option to run in exclusive fullscreen mode?

The game in particular that I'm interested in doing this is Gang Beasts because it has local but no online multiplayer support (nVidia Share solves that problem). It would be great if there were a general solution though because I tried and noticed that quite a few other games I was interested in also did not have the option of exclusive fullscreen mode.

How do I force Nvidia to full screen?

Discuss problems related to FTL here....(NVIDIA) How I got full screen with NO BLACK BORDERS:
  • Open your NVIDIA Control Panel (I'm using Version 306.23 but this shouldn't matter.)
  • Click on the "Adjust desktop size and position" link under the Display tab.
  • Select full screen under "Select a scaling mode:"

  • How do I enable fullscreen exclusives?

Note: If the game still opens in windowed mode after completing both solutions, locate the full screen option within the games settings/options menu and ensure the box is ticked. The game should now change to full screen mode.
