Forgefire ammo pouch final upgrade needs a raccoon skin, is this a glitch?

Forgefire ammo pouch final upgrade needs a raccoon skin, is this a glitch? - Person Putting Bullet in a Rifle

This is after completing the Horizon Zero Dawn main quest, and then continuing the game to play The Frozen Wilds DLC.

The Forgefire ammo pouch upgrade #4 requires a raccoon skin, however I've yet to see a raccoon in this portion of the map. I went back to the Nora area of the map, and only see machines now, no animals.

Is this a glitch? Should the ammo pouch upgrade be asking for a raccoon skin in this DLC?

How do you get raccoon skin in zero dawn horizon?

Where To Hunt Raccoons In Horizon Zero Dawn. Most of the raccoons in the game can be found in wooded areas. The most notable location housing a handful of raccoons is in the southwestern corner of the map. Specifically, it is on the Sacred Lands part that can be seen in the map itself.

Is it better to destroy or override control towers?

Override control towers rather than destroying them. Although the temptation to destroy the otherworldly control towers is strong, resist it. These odd giant robotic flowers send out pulses of purple Daemonic energy, healing any nearby infected robots and depleting your shield if you're using the shield-weaver armour.

Where is the raccoon in Horizon?

You can find Raccoons in almost all woodland biome regions in Horizon Forbidden West, most of which are found to the east and north of the map. By far the best place to locate them, however, is in The Daunt.
