How can I assign the Fn key as a keybind for Valve games?

How can I assign the Fn key as a keybind for Valve games? - Free stock photo of 4k, action, adult

I recently have been stuck with having to play Steam games on my Mac, and while I have not minded different keys being where I'm used to them on Windows, the real problem I have is that I can't assign 'DUCK' (in Valve games) to Fn, and on my Windows computer that's where Control was.

For other games that I used to use Control for stuff (like LoL) it was very easy to change the keybinding but for Valve games it seems I can't so easily. Any solutions?

How do I bind a Fn key?

To enable FN Lock on the All in One Media Keyboard, press the FN key, and the Caps Lock key at the same time. To disable FN Lock, press the FN key, and the Caps Lock key at the same time again.

Can I remap my Fn key?

So the real deal about Fn-key is that it simply doesn't exist to the OS, so you cannot actually "remap" it in the OS. All you can do is remap the secondary function of some key by remaping a key to send the fn-modified single signal... So basically, automating fn-key is not feasible.
