How can I attack move click to kite while only targeting champs?

So the attack move click is by default "a" then click. (I use shift click when kiting)

There is also the default key "tilde (~)" that will allow to target only champions.

The main problem is that when kiting an enemy champions and if there is an enemy minions closer to me than the enemy champions, I would start attacking the minion rather than the champions (when using "attack move click")

So is there any key binding to allow for attacking move click to kite while only targeting champs? If not, is there any "trick" that would allow for such move?

NB: I found some kind of answer on reddit but I don't understand it, and I'm not sure it is actually a correct answer.

Can you a click with Target champions only?

Increase your kiting accuracy by targeting champions only Click on \u201cAbilities and Summoner Spells\u201d and scroll down. Target Champions Only will be toward the bottom of the list and you'll need to assign a hotkey to use it.

How do you make attack moves only champions?

How to Activate This Setting

Select the \u201cHotkeys\u201d tab.

Scroll down to \u201cOther\u201d

Bind \u201cTarget Champions Only\u201d to your preferred hotkey.

Select the "Game" tab.

Scroll down to "Gameplay"

Select 'Treat Target Champions Only' as a toggle.

How do you kite with attack move click?

In practice you'll want to press [A], then left-click near the enemy champion you want to kite. This will cause your champion to auto-attack them automatically. Once your champion has attacked, immediately right-click to move away from them a short distance until your auto-attack is ready to go.

How does attack move Click work?

Player attack move will show you your range and will auto-attack the nearest target to your cursor if you press your right mouse button. Player attack move click doesn't show you your attack range, but once pressed you will not need to manually click again (only to move your champion).
