How can I trigger this Nether Portal glitch? [closed] - Free stock photo of albania, cigarette, cigarette butt

In a Java Aternos Server, when I entered my Nether Portal in the overworld which is at around -6000 64 -117 it got laggy and then I disconnected. When I reentered I was in -6000 Y -117 in the Nether rather than 750 Y 14.
Is it possible to recreate this glitch at will?

Best Answer

Try going into a nether portal and using Task Manager to close Minecraft. That should somewhat replicate being disconnected.

How do you do the nether portal glitch?

Nether portals can be activated only in the Overworld or the Nether; they cannot be activated in the End and customized dimensions.

How do you get out of the nether when the portal closes?

To set up pairs of Nether portals properly so that they reliably travel to each other, it is best to build both portals manually. Build at desired location X,Y,Z in the Overworld. Then travel to the Nether. And then dig your way to X/8, Y, Z/8, and build a portal there.
