How long does oil last for the sword and shield?
In Monster Hunter Generations, a new concept was introduced to the sword and shield wepons which was oil. I've been using it quite a bit, but the one thing I haven't been able to figure out is how long the oil effects last. It seems it is much shorter than cool and warm drinks. How long do oil effects last?

All oils have a duration of 24 hours, or "long". Only one oil can be applied per sword at a time. The effects do not stack. Using a new oil on a sword will replace any current oil and its corresponding effects.Do SNS oils stack MHGU?
Not only that, if you apply one of the regular item blade oils, the effects from the item will stack with the hunter art, depending on which oil you use. You apply oils on your weapon way faster with the hunter art active as well.Monster Hunter X Sword and Shield Oils
