This sounds like a really useful talent, but slots are very rare and putting one of the neutral talents in a rare slot is quite an investment, especially as they don't provide any bonus to mutagens. To judge wether this is worth it it would be necessary to know the size of the bonus damage and sign intensity.

Effect Adrenaline Points also increase your Sign damage. 10% Sign Intensity per Adrenalin Point.

Is there a cap on sign intensity Witcher 3?

the highest cap seems to be around 835%. I made a video showing it off if you're interested. After doing many tests the intensity gains (how much the signs improve) slows down quickly after 150-200. It's not worth going above 200 in my opinion as the signs will already be really powerful.

What does sign intensity do for Aard?

Increasing the Sign Intensity of Aard gives it a chance to inflict knockdown (the status effect, as opposed to simply knocking them down) in addition to whatever stun chance Aard innately has. Increasing the Sign Intensity of Igni gives a much appreciated damage boost.
