How to clone relative to an entity's coordinates? [duplicate] - Cheerful family drinking tea at home

This is kind of a sequel to the other post I made, 'Scoreboard/Cloning Help' and someone said maybe I could clone stuff relative to an entity's coordinates, I thought it was an amazing idea, but he didn't post any command to go with it.

If you guys could help my find how to do that, that would be awesome.

Much like what Haroun Mohamed-Fakier said, all you need to do is use the /execute command.

The command would look something like this.

/execute @e[type=Zombie] ~ ~ ~ /clone ~ ~-1 ~ ~ ~-1 ~ ~ ~2 ~

This command will target all Zombies and clone the block below them to right above them.

Hope this helped and if you have any questions just comment and I'll do my best to answer.

  • First, spawn an armor stand (as a marker) in the location of the entity to be cloned.
  • Move the entity to a predefined location.
  • Clone it with the structure blocks.
  • Then move the entity back to the marker, and the new one where you want it.
  • Finally remove the marker.

Open the inventory. Click on the item you want to duplicate to pick it up. Hold your mouse's scroll wheel button and drag it over empty inventory slots to duplicate it as stacks in your inventory.

This can be done with the command /spawn point. Get the coordinates of where the new village will spawn. Put all of these coordinates in a command block with the following syntax: "clone (corner 1 of villager coordinates) (corner 2 of village coordinates) (coordinates of new village spawn point)."
