I play on mobile and I'm struggling to download and keep up with my friends. My iPad is iOS 10.9.1.

I have App Store (not Microsoft store) and also I have issues looking inside the files. I have none of the apps required to download it. I have the space and storage to download.I’m trying to get mods

Here let me clear it up for you.

Forge is for Minecraft java which is pretty much PC only, and your iPad runs Minecraft Bedrock. The only thing i can think of is using PojavLauncher iOS. Though, you'll need to have a jailbroken device to use it (and also possibly a computer and usb) guide here. Also, you will need to buy a minecraft java account.
