I want to know the maximum number of dwellers that can be assigned to a particular room. How can I know this? At this point of time I'm determining it by continuously assigning until dwellers start replacing each other.

How many dwellers are in a room?

Generally, each room can facilitate two dwellers. Merged rooms may be occupied by up to 6 dwellers. Production rooms require a specific S.P.E.C.I.A.L trait to run, while training rooms increase a specific trait of the selected dwellers.

How do you know what room to assign dwellers to?

You can check a dweller's stats to see what room they're best suited for, or simply drag them to the room in question to see what number they'll add to its overall production rating.

How do I get dwellers fast?

The fastest and easiest way to do get more dwellers in Fallout Shelter is through the natural method \u2013 conception. Female dwellers can get pregnant if you pair them up with a male dweller in the living quarters. The higher their charisma, the faster it'll take them to get straight to the action and get pregnant.

Does putting dwellers in the storage room do anything?

Despite being marked as an Endurance room, having an Endurance-oriented dweller assigned to this room appears to have no effect on the room's function. It does make that dweller happy, though that dweller will not gain levels while assigned to the storage room.
