How to take off the entire top of a PS4
How do I take the entire cover off of a PS4? Not just the plate, but the entire top so I can buy custom tops. Also how do I put it back on?

I suppose the iFixit teardown guide will help you there. You can see the top removed on the second picture of step 11. In case you want to go further the remaining steps show you how to completely disassemble the console (and read the steps backwards to reassemble it).
They also states that, having no adhesive, the disassembly and reassembly is easy, so you shouldn't have any issue putting back the standard top or another one if you want to customize your console.

1) Grab underneath of the top cover near the power button. 2) Pull up...you will hear it click or snap as you pull up. 3) Move your hand over to the opposite side of the top cover and pull up here as well. 4) After puling up both sides of the top cover it should now slide back and off of the PS4.PS4 Pro Top Cover Removal...Without Breaking It!
