The clockwork engines in the 1.5.2 version of Forestry provide essentially unlimited power at the cost of winding them with right-clicking. Is there any way to automate these, maybe with turtles or some other contraption? I can see how this would be very overpowered if mass produced.

How to power a clockwork engine?

The Clockwork Engine is an engine added by Forestry. It's an early-game engine as it doesn't need any fuel. To power the engine, the Player has to hold the right-mouse button, and the tip of the engine will change from blue to green to yellow to orange and finally to red.

How does the clockwork engine work?

A clockwork mechanism is often powered by a clockwork motor consisting of a mainspring, a spiral torsion spring of metal ribbon. Energy is stored in the mainspring manually by winding it up, turning a key attached to a ratchet which twists the mainspring tighter.
