I have played on my friend's Survival Realm for ~3 months and he was going to stop paying for the realm so I was wondering is there any way to get that world for my Personal Client.

Can you export Minecraft realm worlds?

You can export your maps from any versions of Realms at any time within an 18-month period after your subscription has expired. Once your subscription has been inactive for more than 18 months, your world will be permanently deleted from Minecraft's servers.

How do I make a copy of my realm world?

To replace your Realm world, follow these instructions:
  • In Minecraft, select Play.
  • Select the Realm slot you want to replace.
  • Choose Edit World.
  • Select Replace World.
  • Choose the world you want to load onto your Realm server.
  • When the replacement is finished, choose Let's Go!
