Is there an aim assist in State of Decay on PC? - Man in Black Suit Achieved an Accomplishment

I was playing State of Decay on the PC with a keyboard and mouse, now I started to play it with an Xbox controller and I discovered that aiming guns with it is almost impossible. I wasn't able to find an assisted aim mode in the options?

Is there an option to enable aim assist on the PC version?

Best Answer

I am a few years late, but yes there is aim assist - in the form of a survivor specialization. If you specialize into rifles one of the skills your survivor can learn is to aim snap onto a zombie's head at the cost of some stamina.

Outside of that specialization I have noticed some slight aim assist when tracking heads, but not heavy enough to be very useful.

Can you get aim assist on PC?

Simply put, no. There's no aim assist built into the PC version of Halo Infinite. This means that if you're using a mouse and keyboard to control your Spartan of choice, it's all down to the steadiness of your aim. You won't get any help pointing at enemy players, or assistance in ensuring your shots are steady.

Is Aim Assist cheating on PC?

There is no aim assist mouse (or is considered cheating), as only controller players need it.

How do you aim in state of decay 2 PC?

To aim down the sights in State of Decay 2, simply press the right stick while aiming with LT. This will give you much more accuracy and control over your aiming, useful for dealing large amounts of damage to boss enemies, and for taking out zombies in a single shot.

Is Aim Assist the same on PC?

This means there is a different amount of AA even between PC players. I think a lot of it has to do with FOV and a lot of PC players getting 150ish FPS. Aim assist feels stronger the higher FPS. The snap makes up for not having Red Reticle aim assist, that magnetizes headshots even if you're off by a lot.
