Minecraft 15w37a: Pistons not being pushed

I'm trying to make a bank for a "minecraft city." I use this technique that ACtennisAC used:

The pistons are to "automatically" push the minecarts. However, whatever in any way, the pistons are not doing anything whatsoever, they're OFF. I'm trying with a redstone loop so that pistons do not get results that they're STUCK, so the other minecarts are NOT moving whatsoever at that result.

Please help!

Why wont my pistons work in Minecraft?

Pistons only extend when unblocked if you remove the block directly in front of them, otherwise they don't get a block update. The workaround would be to power them later.

Why is my sticky piston not moving?

Your piston is not receiving direct redstone power: Notice how the redstone wire is pointed away from the piston. In order to power that piston, you'll need to either power a block directly adjacent to the piston, or loop your wire around slightly so that it points directly at the piston.

What blocks can pistons not push?

Some blocks cannot be pushed by pistons and the piston head will not extend. These blocks include Obsidian, Bedrock, Furnaces, Chests, etcetera. Pistons will not push blocks into the Void or the top of the map. Pumpkins, Cobwebs, Dragon Egg and Jack-O-Lanterns are turned back into items when pushed.
