Minecraft mine cart troubles

Minecraft mine cart troubles - White Metal High-rise Viewing Deck Building

I am attempting to make a MC roller coaster -witch I have done before- and for some reason when I power the tracks, the mine cart shakes back and forth and won't move forward or let me ride in it. I currently am playing 1.8.8 for the PC

Since the 1.8 update powered rails and activator rails behave differently when used for powering a mine cart track. Using activator rails causes shaking and, sometimes, ejects the player character from the mine cart. You only need the activator rails to activate carts, but they shouldn't be used continuously. Powered rails should be used for increasing or decreasing speed.

As provided by Mystery, here is a video demonstrating the changes made to mine carts and the usage of different rails:

Why do Minecraft carts wobble?

Mobs. Minecart shaking due to being on top of an activator rail. Most mobs can ride minecarts, but only some types of mobs can control them. Mobs cannot exit the minecart unless the minecart is destroyed or moves onto an active activator rail.

How do you get a mine cart to Bounce Back?

There are several different types of rails. Powered rails can increase or decrease the speed at which minecarts travel. This type of rail keeps a minecart moving on the railway. Activator rails cause any minecart that runs over them to drop off any player or material that is being transported.
