Minecraft Music never plays

Minecraft Music never plays - Man Playing Guitar Sitting on Concrete Bench

As the title says, my Minecraft ingame music NEVER plays. It's in the Appdata folder, so all's OK there, my Master Volume is on max and all other sliders are on max too. But it just never plays. Only the main menu one does. All the other sounds work well.

I'm on a PC.

I found out that this error usually solves itself while your on wifi. You know this has happened when you see "missing resource pack(s). Downloaded global pack." This means it has reinstalled the standard pack. If the issue persist, Delete and reinstall minecraft. ~Kaden F.

P.S careful when deleting minecraft, you will lose your world's unless you extract them by copying their save file via a file explorer.

Why does my Minecraft music never play?

Most likely the player is going to inspect the Audio Settings in-game. There is a slider that indicates the music is enabled. No other feedback to the player is provided at this point, that the music can be downloaded. This is often reported as a bug on bugs.mojang.com as “no music” or “jukeboxes don't play music”.

How do you force Minecraft to play music?

You can force Minecraft music to play with the /playsound command. (The volume is not how loud the sound is, but how far from the source you can still hear it. Since you probably don't want the music to fade when you move away from the position , it is set to an extremely high number.)
