Mod Version Compatibility

I am putting together a modded survival LP and was wondering, since some of my mods don't go past 1.5.2, would mods from 1.6.4 work in 1.5.2? If this helps, the mod only adds blocks and there is nothing that affects world gen. The mod is the Trampoline Mod by VoidsWrath.

My suggestion would be to test it out and see if things break. Sometimes you will need to download a previous version of the mod that works for 1.5.2.

The best rule-of-thumb indicator of whether two mods will conflict is to compare the list of . class files they contain. If there are no files which exist in both mods, chances are good that they'll work just fine together. How do you know if a mod is compatible?
Older mods are not compatible with newer versions of Forge. They're only able to be ran with the version of the game they were made for. This is because the code the mod uses only fits with the code of that exact Minecraft version. Can older mods work on newer versions?
Basically, 1.12 continues to grow and keep its popularity as it is the largest version for the most amount of modded content. That is to say, versions like 1.16 and 1.17 also have a semi-large modding scene, but it is not comparable.Minecraft Mod Combinations That Work Perfectly Together
