PC Controller not working with Arkham Origins [duplicate]

I recently bought a PC Controller. It wasn't working with The Amazing Spiderman 2. I updated all the drivers and stuff but all in vain. I did some research and found that the games require a Xiinput file thingy. I placed it in the game directory and the controller worked smoothly on TASM2. I brought Batman AO yesterday. I pasted the files in the game's directory but IS ISN'T WORKING. Is it a problem with my controller or with the game? Thanks in advance.

Can you play Batman Arkham Origins on PC with a controller?

Yes, but the controller isn't directly supported becauase it does not use xinput. You need to use a "wrapper" software such as DS4Win which will translate the calls the DS4 makes into xinput calls that the game can understand.

Reset Video Settings

Access your Arkham Origins folder (Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Batman Arkham Origins\\SinglePlayer\\BMGame\\Config)

Remove the BMEngine. ini file.

Start up the game again, it should be restored to Default settings.
