When looking at the Realm List, you can see 4 different types of Population Status:

  1. Full
  2. Medium
  3. Low
  4. New Players

What determines each status? Is it only the players currently actively on the realm? Are there any other things influencing this?

What is the most populated WoW realm?

#1) WoW Circle WoW Circle is the most popular private WoW server. Players can enjoy different content including Cataclysm 4.3.

How many people are on a WoW realm?

It has a capacity of 1200 people playing at the time. During normal operation, the server expects ~45% of active accounts to play simultanously at prime time, so ~900 people on the medium server, which means no queues and ~1800 on the full server, which means a big queue.

What is a normal realm?

Realm options: Normal or RP. A Normal realm is simply a non-RP realm. You control whether you want to engage in open world PvP combat with players of the opposing faction by activating or deactivating War Mode. You can group up and play with friends from other realms within your region.
