What "special" skins can be gifted in League? [duplicate]

My little brother wants the Samsung White skins that are being given out on his birthday. I am wondering which skins can be gifted, if any. Could someone tell me which ones can be gifted?

If the skin is purchasable currently, you can gift them as well including event specific skins except skins which are only obtainable by code (like PAX). If they are limited skins you can not gift them after the event deadline including as mystery gifts. Here is a guide to skin types.

Can you gift already owned skins in league?

You can only send gifts to players who've been on your friends' list for more than 48 hours. Only skins and items sold in the Item Shop will be eligible for gifting, meaning you won't be able to gift battle passes, items that are a part of battle pass bundles, and V-Bucks.

What happens if you gift a skin someone already has League of Legends?

Nope. The system stops you at the final step. Once you go back to choosing another skin/champion the selection gets greyed out.

Can you gift mythic skins league?

A skin for any Champion that your friend owns is eligible for Mystery Gifting, as long as it's worth at least 520 RP and is available in the store. This includes Legendary and even Ultimate skins!
