I have recently downloaded several mods and to install them it says simply put them in your mod folder under your .minecraft folder but, I simply cannot find it! Please help.

Press Windows Key + R, type %appdata%, your .minecraft folder should be within that folder

Where do I find my mods folder in Windows 10?
Most likely case is that you need to install Forge Mod Loader, which you can download here. If you do already have Forge and the folder is still missing, it may have been deleted by mistake.
