Difference between 'sheet DPS' and 'profile DPS'
If you open up your inventory, over to the right hand side you will see a number below the word "Damage". Similarly, if you open up your hero's page in your character profile, you will likewise see a number labeled as damage (or DPS, or something of the like). What is the difference between these two numbers?
Best Answer
The profile DPS doesn't include some of the variables in the calculation, mostly just damage buffs from skills (including passive), because these damage buffs are inactive at the moment of calculation, i.e when offline (profile page treats your stats the same regardless if you're online or offline)
Sheet DPS includes all these variables, because it is calculated when you open your inventory.

What is sheet damage diablo 3?
Sheet DPS is the estimated Base damage which your skills/sets/elemental damage/skill % are based off. The only numbers used to compute sheet DPS are your weapon damage, crit hit chance, crit hit damage and increased attack speed. What is the difference between DPS and damage?
DPS=damage over time. If the above gun fires once a second, you do 10 damage every second, so your DPS is 10. Simples. DPS is a metric of how effective your weapon actually is at dealing damage, rather than assuming a weapon is most effective because it has the highest damage per shot. What's the difference between a brain and a computer?
