Does UV Light Kill the Volatiles?

Does UV Light Kill the Volatiles? - Crop anonymous persons hand painted in neon colors in darkness

We have a pocket UV light. So, does that kill the volatiles if we hold it on them enough?

I'm at the entrance of the tunnel, so if I get inside, there is the dark area. I can cook them with my UV light on the bus.

How do you kill volatiles with UV flashlight?

When you engage with a Volatiles, make your distance and shoot UV projectiles at it before it makes a move. The UV projectiles stun them and as the light makes them vulnerable, this is your cue to make the move. Once they are stunned, you can either use long or short-range attacks to lower their health.

Can you take down volatiles?

The first thing to note is that Volatiles can not be grappled and won't be rag-dolled by dropkicks, so you won't be able to utilise environmental hazards to take them down. You can, however, use a smash takedown if attacking from above, although it won't kill the volatile but instead stun it.

Do flares work on volatiles?

Sometimes, putting a flare on a roof can cause Volatiles that run into it to recoil backwards and fall off the roof. As funny as this can be, it unfortunately won't kill them 9 times out of 10, so this is an ineffective strategy if you are trying to kill them.
