How come when my friend gets an invite in Minecraft PE it asks him if he wants to join the game but when I get an invite in Minecraft PE it doesn't tell me anything? Also my friend has an android and I have an iPhone.

How do I accept an invite on Minecraft PE?

If you want to play with friends who created their own server, press the Touchpad and then hit Triangle. This will bring up a list of any invites you have received. If you see the invite to the right server, hit the accept button, and you'll be transported to the world.
