How to tell if a weapon is one or two-handed

This is probably a noob question but I don't see any consistent indication on whether a particular weapon is one or two-handed. Sometimes it is implied in the weapon name but not always. Spending your hard earned gold on the wrong weapon is no fun at all.

I tried searching for it but the results are flodded with questions on whether to wield one or two-handed weapons which is not what I'm interested in. Is there another way to see this in-game?

How do you tell if a weapon is 1 or 2 handed?

Generally, a weapon that is 2 wide will be a 2-handed weapon, while an item that is 1 wide will be a 1-handed weapon, but there are exceptions to that.

Are all heavy weapons two handed?

Since all heavy weapons are also two-handed, you must use two hands to wield them. The enlarge spell doesn't give you the ability to wield a two-handed weapon in one hand, even if that weapon wasn't enlarged with you.

Can you use two handed weapons with one hand?

The rules don't allow wielding a two-handed weapon with one hand, regardless of your strength score or effects that increase your size.
