Signs are always blank when closing keyboard in Minecraft PE - Black Laptop Computer Beside White Steno Notebook

I have a Kindle Fire HD and I have Minecraft Pocket Edition. I have a problem with my signs. I place them on both game modes fine,and I also type them fine, but when I exit my keyboard, the sign is blank. This always happens and I have even tried downloading maps, but the signs on those are blank too.

Why are my signs blank in Minecraft?

Your text is probably disappearing due to lag from so many signs/entities and approval issues. Your text is not gone forever, just waiting to be approved and that can take a while. Sometimes you can speed the approval/load time up by hitting the signs with "LT" or placing then breaking a block next to it fast.
