Why is my Iron Farm not working?

A little while ago, I tried making an iron farm on my Xbox One Minecraft World, but I noticed, even in my village, when the villagers get spooked or even hit by zombies or such they don't spawn iron golems, which I thought they did. Is that mechanic only for Java Edition or am I somehow doing something wrong?
I used the design from this video:

Why is my iron farm not spawning golems?
Short answer: Iron golems attempt to spawn at the "village center", but due to the current setup there isn't room for the golem at this point. A village center is the northwest bottom corner of a point-of-interest (POI) block, which can be a bed pillow, bell, or workstation. How long does it take for an iron golem farm to start working?
Note that based on the search algorithm, at best only 98.3% of spawn attempts will succeed. Therefore, it is impossible to build a farm in which iron golems spawns occur on average every 35 seconds. Since iron golems drop 4 ingots on average, the highest possible average ingots per hour is 4 * 3600 / 35 * .Why are cats spawning but not iron golems?
Getting cats but not golems usually means not enough villagers are working. This could be because a baby was born or a villager nearby that you didn't intend to be part of the farm is treated as a dweller if the village by the game. Those would be problems with design and construction, not bugs.Sources: Stack Exchange - This article follows the attribution requirements of Stack Exchange and is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.
