Does Fallout 4 misgender your character? - Brown Wooden Blocks on White Surface

I play as a female character and a relatively significant amount of times (roughly once every 4-10 hours of gameplay) Some character will refer to my character with male pronouns (he/his). Has any one else had this experience of being misgendered by NPCs?

Update: just wanted to add that I play on a ps4

Is it better to play as a girl or boy in Fallout 4?

I play as male and female, the female is good if you plan to snag black widow to maximize your damage output (very useful for sniper, gunslinger, or melee builds). The male character really doesn't have any numbers related benefit, the lady killer perk is useful but even with the changes most enemies are male.

There was some worry when Bethesda first announced Fallout 4 that you would only be able to play as a male character. Well, in tonight's lengthy gameplay demo, Bethesda confirmed that you'll be able to play as a female as well.

How do you look at the front of your character in Fallout 4?

If you switch to third-person view you can see your character. If you put your weapon away, you can rotate the view around your character, to see their face. If you hold down the perspective switch button, you can use the right stick to zoom in and out while rotating the view.

Can you change your character in Fallout 4?

You can alter your appearance in the first vault only when you're leaving it for the first time, it's not something you can constantly do. Or showlooksmenu 14 in the console. But yeah, every "barber shop" (forgot the name of the buildable) lets you customize your character again.
