Fallout 4 Artillery Map?

Fallout 4 Artillery Map? - Free stock photo of antique, antique cannon, army

So I've been trying to build up every settlement location I can to maximize artillery coverage. I have them all owned except Boston Airport, Bunker Hill, and Covenant. I have everything linked to Red Rocket by trade routes, but haven't quite finished the artillery, turns out these settlers want "food" and "water" and "shelter" instead.

But after I get all the artillery set up, what areas are left uncovered? I assume the Glowing Sea is out of range, but I'd like a more precise answer. Also, if one settlement has more than 1 artillery, or if my target is in range of multiple settlements, do I get more strikes on my target? I already know that I can't target more than one spot at a time, no matter how many guns in range.

How far is the range of artillery Fallout 4?

After a little experimenting, I found the answer, the effective range of artillery in FO4 is about 5.5 grid squares, or about 480-550 meters from the artillery site.

Where is the artillery in Fallout 4?

Go into workshop mode and create an artillery turret, an option located under the Special category. Then highlight any unnamed Minutemen soldier, and assign the turret to that character. Follow the latest waypoint indicator and toss a smoke grenade in that direction. Ronnie would also like a field test of the turret.

What is the range of Minutemen artillery?

Its ammunition is unlimited, and its maximum range is approximately a five-sector radius, as viewed on the Pip-Boy's world map. It becomes active only after a settler is assigned to operate it.

How do I set up artillery fallout?

  • Hold down the V key until the build menu shows up.
  • Walk up to a person and, when highlighted, hit "E" for Command.
  • Walk over to an artillery piece and "Assign" should come up.
