Fallout 4 patch - Reunions mission

I'm on PS4 and still waiting for the patch release, but the announcement says:

Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions

Reunions is the first main mission that I have finished. I don't understand what they mean with equipped weapons become locked. Is it my weapons or the weapons of companions being locked? I don't think I have experienced that on PS4.

How do I get the reunions quest in Fallout 4?

Back at the Valentine Detective Agency, a conversation with Nick Valentine and Piper will complete the quest. If Nick was the player's partner against Kellogg, after speaking with them, he will direct the Sole Survivor to talk to Piper at Publick Occurrences, where the next major quest of the main storyline will begin.

What is the reunions quest in Fallout 4?

The quest Reunions is one of many Fallout 4 missions and part of IGN's complete wiki guide and Walkthrough. This mission picks up immediately after ending Getting a Clue. Dogmeat will lead you out of town a fair bit then stop near a small dock on some water.

The room also has an elevator going down. The basement floor contains an exit to the Parking Garage, and a chained door that can only be accessed by the second floor elevator. From the elevator, the basement hall has a laser tripwire that will activate a nearby tesla mine.

What level should I be to fight Kellogg?

Depends entirely on how fast you want to play through the main story line. My current game I did Nuka World, siding with the raiders first, then killed off the raiders, started the Minuteman quest line, then killed Kellogg at level 60 something. Should be fine. If not, come back and ask for tips.
