Is there any Institute clothes that allow me to use Armor?

I like to use faction related clothes. I also like my armor.

For the Brotherhood of Steel, I could use the BoS Uniform. For the minutemen, I've got the Minutemen clothes, The Railroad doesn't seem to have any kind of uniform, so I use leather clothes/whatever "normal" clothes.

But for the Institute, all I got are various colored lab coat, that doesn't allow armor.

I ve saw on F4 wiki that there is a "Synth uniform" that would work well... But is only stealable on a companion or on two of the vendor in the Institute.

Did I miss any other choice for role-playing a Institute Sole Survivor? Or should I accept to get rid of my equipment?

What clothes can I wear with armor Fallout 4?

The only clothing included, meaning that you can equip all armor slots, are these:

Army Fatigues (+1 Str and Agi)
Baseball Uniform (+1 Str and Agi)
Dirty Army Fatigues (+1 Str and Agi)
Green Shirt and Combat Boots (+1 End and Cha)
Military Fatigues (+2 Agi and 5 Energy Resist)
Minuteman Outfit (+1 Agi and Per)

Can you wear armor over ballistic weave?

There are five tiers to ballistic weaves, and they can only be applied on non-armor clothing such as outfits and hats.

Can you get synth uniform Fallout 4?

Can be found in the inventory of X6-88. Both the synth requisition officer and the synth cafeteria worker wear one. Right before going into Old Robotics, they can be looted from four of the generation 2 synths in the sewers during the Nuclear Option.

Can you put ballistic weave on courser uniform?

All the aforementioned clothing can be improved with ballistic weave, the Courser Uniform getting the highest values (which are second only to Maxson's Battlecoat and the Mechanist's Armor (both of which are unique)).
