Problem: BOS Fallout 4

Problem: BOS Fallout 4 - Cows eating grass while peeping out from behind bars indoors

So I'm having a very annoying problem: Paladin Danse won't give me the next Brotherhood of Steel quest (the one that has me go to the prydwen, via vertibird), and he won't have cognitive conversation, just a repetitive menial response, including "I'm busy right now." I've done Haylen and Rhys's missions for 2 and a half hours. Can someone help me?

Progress with the main story quest to get ahead with the Brotherhood of Steel. Before that, you can only repeat Rhys' and Haylen's quests over and over.

How to Complete Call to Arms Quest and Join the Brotherhood of Steel
  • Fire Support.
  • Listen to Military Frequency AF95.
  • Proceed to Cambridge Police Station.
  • Call to Arms Quest.
  • Provide Fire Support for Paladin Danse.
  • Restore Auxiliary Power for Paladin Danse.
  • Retrieve the Deep Range Transmitter.


    • Is BoS good Fallout 4?

    The BoS is more of a neutral faction. Depending on your choices, they can be good or evil. As an example, you could threaten Farmers for their food or bargain with them. Lyons was truly a good man, and the BoS became a "good" Faction in FO3 under him.

    Are the BoS the good guys?

    There really isn't a good or evil faction in any of the fallout games. The BoS wants to save humanity by making sure that they don't misuse technology, but they think that *they* are only ones who can properly handle said technology. All of the factions have good yet conflicting interests.

    Can you ally the railroad with the BoS?

    No, sadly there is no way to make an alliance. If you side with the Railroad you must destroy the Institute. You will also have to become enemies with the brotherhood.
